Welcome to week 29!
No changes in the French top three this week as newspaper 20 Minutes remains on top with just under 2,5 million total engagement, followed by sports site L’EQUIPE (1,8 million) and broadcaster BFMTV (1,6 million). News channel FRANCE 24 (1,4 million) and sports site Football.fr (1,3 million) find themselves moving up to ranks four and five respectively, as entertainment site Purepeople.com moves down to 9th this week.
In Finland, tabloid Iltalehti stays first with 673,000 engagement, with rival Ilta-Sanomat (647k) and public broadcaster Yleisradio (513k) wrapping up the top three. Broadcaster MTV (283k) and daily newspaper Helsingin Sanomat (186k) keep their respective positions at four and five.
Tabloid Expressen holds on to top spot in Sweden with 1,1 million engagement but the rest of the top five is in flux: Newsner (684k) trumps Aftonbladet (617k) while viral site ViralKing.se (322k) moves up to fourth spot and public broadcaster SVT (258k) moves down a rank. TV4, fifth last week, finds itself in rank 9 this week.
In Norway, broadcasters TV 2 (484k) and NRK (278k) stay first and second respectively as tabloid VG (255k) ascends to third spot, pushing daily paper Dagbladet.no (222k) down a notch.
Nettavisen (134k) reenters the top five, pushing last week’s #5 Aftenposten out.

Ilta-Sanomat provides us with the top Finnish story of the week covering the creation of the country’s first salvage grocery store specializing in surplus food, earning 16000 On-Post engagement and 15000 Web Shares.
Expressen’s group photo of the Swedish royal family is well received, making 27000 On-Post engagement and 26000 Web Shares.
TV 2 Nyhetene’s story about 20-year old Syrian immigrant Lilas enrolling in med school is the best Norwegian performer, with 26000 On-Post engagement and another 26000 in Web Shares.
20 Minutes provides the best French post this week, covering an airline captain’s decision not to allow passengers on a government watchlist to board a flight. This one earned nearly 100000 On-Post engagement and more than 41000 Web Shares.
