It’s a big jump for Ilta-Sanomat, going from 439,871 to a massive 563,246 total engagement in the course of a week, thanks to successfully tackling big topics such as the Equal marriage act and creating a very popular test to celebrate Finnish Language Day. Apart from a reorganization of medal placements, the overall top 5 contenders remain the same as in the previous week.
Finnish broadcaster MTV continues to perform well in the Television category, sharing a mix of content from their various divisions and brands along with a healthy amount of news.
Alma Media does well in Tech news, with Tekniikka&Talous, Iltalehti Digi and Tivi holding the top three positions.
With about two weeks of the season left, Finnish Elite League semifinals continue to engage the audience, with all four teams appearing in the Sports top 10, along with Liiga itself. MTV Jääkiekko, Yle Urheilu and Urheilulehti maintain their respective positions in the top 3 for the third week in a row.
Television personality Arman Alizad nearly triples his engagement from week 13, thanks to popular posts surrounding the launch of his latest program. In Politics, the Greens are well represented with Emma Kari, Ozan Yanar and party leader Ville Niinistö appearing in the top 5 for Finnish Politicians, along with Li Andersson from the Left Alliance and the National Coalition Party’s Sirpa Pietikäinen.
